You can apply to two simultaneous language groups -- we actually recommend it as it creates more opportunities for you to practice a new language. However, you cannot attend sessions of language groups you haven’t applied to.
For example, if there are two English Basic groups you want to attend, you will need to apply to each of the two groups. If you apply to only one of them, you can only attend the one you’ve applied for.
This policy ensures the safety of the group and it also reinforces the team spirit that is at the core of our mission, as SPEAK exists not only to break language barriers but also to encourage participants to create informal networks among themselves, which is only possible by taking part in the whole group.
